One who says 鈥淚 will sin and I will repent, I will sin and I will repent鈥濃�攖hey have no ability to effect repentance. 鈥淚 will sin and Yom Kippur will effect atonement鈥濃�擸om Kippur will not effect atonement. Transgressions that are between a person and the Omnipresent鈥擸om Kippur effects atonement; transgressions that are between a person and their fellow鈥� Yom Kippur does not effect atonement until they have appeased their fellow.
